Speculoos Drink
🛠 Equipment
- Saucepan
- Whisk
- Glasses (2)
- Spoon
- Immersion blender (optional)
🛒 Ingredients
| 400 ml | Whole milk | |
| 4 tbsp | Speculoos spread (cookie butter) | |
| 100 ml | Heavy cream | |
| 1 packet | Vanilla sugar | |
| 4 | Speculoos cookies | |
| 1 pinch | Ground cinnamon |
Preparation
Step 1: Heat the milk
Pour the whole milk into a saucepan and heat over medium heat without letting it boil.
The milk should be hot but not boiling — small bubbles on the surface are enough.
Step 2: Add the speculoos spread
Add the speculoos spread to the hot milk. Whisk vigorously until the spread is completely melted and the drink is smooth.
If the speculoos spread is too thick, use an immersion blender for a perfectly smooth texture.
Step 3: Flavor and serve
Add the vanilla sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Mix well.
Divide the drink between two large glasses.
Step 4: Whip the cream
In a bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Place a generous dollop of whipped cream on each glass.
Step 5: Decorate and enjoy
Crush the speculoos cookies over the whipped cream. Sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon.
Serve immediately, piping hot, with a straw or spoon to stir as you sip.
💡 Tips & variations
- Heat the milk without boiling to preserve the speculoos flavor.
